Great desoldering wick! I had to work on some 70's era video games - a few components needed replacing. I wanted to be careful not to overheat the boards and there is always a risk when soldering or desoldering. This wick worked great; I quickly pulled out the old solder, which helped limit the time the boards were exposed to heat. I will buy again!

Turning is fun again - I know it sounds like a sad soldering iron. Simply place the wick on the pad you wish to desolder and then gently press the soldering iron on the top of the wick - do not hold the end of the wick with your other hand, leave it on the table or hold it by the end plastic case. .This wick pulls solder at least 2cm into the wick, must be a record!
