Broke after 4 months of use - not worth it.

This is one of Revain's few USB 3.1 USB-C to USB-C cables. The cable looks well made, the body/wire insulation is solid and the ends are hard plastic. The metal ends of the USB-C fell out. It looks like the end was glued on with a small amount of epoxy and a single point of solder. After the end fell out, I wiggled the other end 3 times and that end fell out too with little effort. I see other reviews. here are published photos of the same thing happening to their cable. Not worth 8€ for…

Pros
  • Connect a computer with a USB Type-C port to an external hard drive/smartphone/tablet with a USB 2.0 Micro-B port, sync data and charge the device.
Cons
  • No Power

Purchased to replace the longer than needed USB-C 3.1 cable that originally came with my Samsung T5 SSB (2TB). I wasn't sure if this would actually give me USB 3.1 speeds or just USB 2.0 like most other short USB-C to USB-C cables I've tried, but of course I have a Blackmagic Drive speed test performed with a T5 connected to my MacBook Pro 15" (2017 model) via this cable confirms the speed is as fast as the 3.1 cable that the T5 came with. The write speed was 485MB/s and at a load of 5GB…

Pros
  • The reversible design of the USB-C connector allows you to connect and disconnect the cable freely without fear of damaging the connector by inserting it in the wrong direction.
Cons
  • Doubtful

The thickest (and most inflexible) USB-C cable I've ever seen

I bought these to carry a portable battery pack so I can charge my phone on the go. As soon as I took them out of the box, I found that they were too thick to fill that need. I read a few reviews on this cable where people mentioned it was too thick but didn't say why. They would probably be good for a fixed tuning where they could be held more or less straight or at a part angle. I need cables that can easily bend 180Β° without being too thick at the bend. My first photo shows this cable along…
