The thickest (and most inflexible) USB-C cable I've ever seen

I bought these to carry a portable battery pack so I can charge my phone on the go. As soon as I took them out of the box, I found that they were too thick to fill that need. I read a few reviews on this cable where people mentioned it was too thick but didn't say why. They would probably be good for a fixed tuning where they could be held more or less straight or at a part angle. I need cables that can easily bend 180° without being too thick at the bend. My first photo shows this cable along with another brand of cable that I think is the perfect thickness. Both are tightly curved, which I find comfortable. I might have been able to get them to work, but the issue I gave them one star for is that the connectors aren't as snug as I'd like compared to all my other USB-C cables. For this reason I sent them back. I've included a second picture to give you an idea of the thickness of the cable. On the left you'll see this cable, then a competitor's USB-A to USB-C cable, another competitor's USB-C to USB-C cable, and finally a USB-C to USB -C cable. The middle two cables are the ideal cable thickness for my needs in my opinion, a balance of strength and reasonable flexibility, although the thinnest of the cables is still great for my needs. All in all these cables seem to be a pretty good construction. Quality but not something that satisfies all needs.
