They have a Velcro closer to keep it in place. the Velcro on the top. They stay in place. they don't shrink in the wash, Can be used on both sides and works great. 4 pack so you can clean the whole house at once without thinking of washing the pads!!! They are easy to wash, just throw them in the machine and they are like new !.

- with longer ribs like threads on a cord mop, they are a bit thicker than the original cotton/poly and take a little longer for steam to penetrate but then they work great. and they don't slow the head down like many of the thinner substitutes.
