May not work with newer head units with speed sensors

Required for fitting non-genuine Pioneer head units without a speed sensor in order to use all menus while driving. It also saves you having to dismantle the center console just for the parking brake. While I don't recommend watching movies while driving, you can do that too. On my Porsche 996, this saved me the extra headache of accessing the parking brake sensor. The price is justified by the easy installation.

Easy installation - an important component

At first I thought I didn't need this item because I wouldn't watch videos while driving, but quickly realized that without it I was also basically stuck menu functions. B. setting up Bluetooth and using the built-in Pioneer Spotify app. It was very easy to install and worked flawlessly on my Pioneer MVH-1400NEX. Only 3 wires to connect to the back of the main unit with matching colors and easy instructions.

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • No instructions

It costs $15 total. Much better than a toggle switch.

Wow! I know it's expensive compared to a toggle switch. it is so smooth and clean! Installed on Suburban 2003 and Pioneer AVH-1330-NEX. Super easy, instructions included! To be honest the Pioneer would have been harder to install if I had to look for the green reverse wire under the dash. And if this main unit does not receive a signal on either this microbypass or the return conductor, some of the button functions will not be available for selection. Totally worth the $15 spent. Get this babe!

Great company and great product.

Great product. For AVH-2440NEX, follow the instructions carefully. Solder the blue wire to the meter's blue power wire (blue and white) and the black wire to the meter's black wire. Cut the light green wire to the same length as the blue and black and solder the green to the light green. I thought I screwed up but the company has great customer service and they told me to check it out. I put the DVD in and everything worked. Good people. You don't like it when you think you've failed, but you…

Pioneer easy to install emergency brake bypass.

This is a simple setup to bypass the handbrake lock on a Pioneer radio. There are only three wires to connect: black to ground (also black), green to the emergency brake wire on the unit (light green), and blue to the system remote wire (blue/white) (not to the solid blue antenna). power cable if it is on the radio). This will allow access to all menu items without emergency braking, and the video screen will also be available.

Pros
  • Done
Cons
  • Some nuances

Very easy and simple installation once you know how to match wire colors and solder/crimp elements safely. Do not twist or glue it unless you check the connection before final wiring. The green color matches the light green of the radio wiring harness, do not connect your car's parking wire. Blue corresponds to the blue and white stripe. Cable for connecting the power supply to the amplifier. The black loop goes into the ground connection made on the jumper strap because you need to ground the…

Watch the tutorial on YouTube

My Pioneer radio wouldn't let me clear the Bluetooth memory because the Bluetooth menu wasn't available. I bought this, wanted to install it and now it works great. If you need help installing it, it's pretty easy. Start with the black ground wire as you know it will be grounded to the vehicle. I twisted mine together with the black wire on the pioneer harness. The green wire needs to be connected to the long light green wire labeled Parking Brake. The last blue wire must be connected to the…

Not required for AVH-W4400NEX, poor customer service

Contacted seller after it didn't work. He said it was my fault for not reading the product description and not offering any help to make it work. Thank him for that. For the AVH-W4400NEX you need to update the firmware to 1.01, ground the parking brake green wire and press and hold 1" down and 1" left until "Set on" appears on the screen. screen (10-15 sec). bypass completed. Works on firmware 1.00. You need to keep the GPS antenna away from the main unit and you will get warning messages on…
