very effective but hard to come by

I bought these for myself due to leaking wires. The problem is turning them on and off. It would be great if the manufacturer included a silk cuff to make it easier to slip it over the ankle. once activated it works great. I need my husband to help me get it off my ankle but this works great.

  • Easy to install

Comfort Fit.: Medical Compression Stocking

It's a little difficult to put on, so you'll need to take your time and make sure it doesn't twist. They're tight but comfortable. Remember to lower your feet to the top of your toes (but not over) or you'll end up with bun-like feet. The silicone around the thigh keeps the hose in place without pulling or pinching. I recommend to everyone who needs it.

Great compression stockings!

I've mostly recovered from my leg surgery last year, but I have swelling and discomfort from time to time. My doctor recommended compression stockings and I decided to try them. They made an immediate difference and helped greatly reduce discomfort over longer days. Totally recommended, especially for the price.

  • Best in its niche

  • Some difficulties

Legs don't hurt - medical compression underwear

Excellent product. Legs don't hurt after standing for a long time. it's a little tight (but not uncomfortable), but that's okay because it'll likely loosen up over time. it rises above half my thighs. However, I am disappointed because it is not translucent like in the picture. It wasn't that pure publicity, so I guess I should have known. For those who find the silicone strap uncomfortable, I recommend dusting the inside with baby powder or cornstarch.

Pros
  • Good product for its price
Cons
  • Minor problems

Great price for a support tube

Bought after sclerotherapy. To be clear, I never found the support tube to be "practical" (hence the 3 stars). I was VERY impressed with the quality of the stockings in terms of thickness but have never had any luck with the piping on the thigh. They ALWAYS roll over me, despite the rubber beads that end up just tugging at my skin. I have found that when I actually fold the tape (exposing the rubber beads) they stay in place much easier. MUCH cheaper than the medical supply store and the same…

I liked it, except for the color.

I really wanted to like them. Insertion was fairly easy (the medical compression might take some effort, but I found it easy). The fit was good, I felt supported and that they would do well. They just don't look like a natural skin tone. I wear skirts to work and have been wearing my tedos I got from nylon surgery and needed a pair that I could just wear on my own. They have a yellowish skin tone and I just didn't find them flattering. If you wear them under things, then generally great! But if

Feel great using

I have problem with pain in my legs and feet and decided to try these. As soon as I put them on, my feet felt great - they didn't hurt at all. One note: beware of harshness. I had the tightest possible and while my legs felt great with them on, they were very difficult to put on and my husband had to help me take them off. Besides, I'd rather have garters. The elastic at the top, no matter how wide, tends to bunch up, making it feel like you have the equivalent of a really tight elastic around…

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Slightly torn

The rubber dots burned my skin!

I've bought a few similar items from various retailers - I have skinny legs and don't usually swell, but I work a job that requires me to be on my feet all day and good compression works wonders when holding my legs makes me feel good after a long shift. This is definitely the worst thing I have. They don't stay as good as other brands. The upper elastics are disproportionately tight, so the overall effect pinches a lot more than pinches, even on skinny legs like me. I thought they might break…

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Not bad

Good for swelling

For 3 years I had a pinched nerve in my back causing temporary paralysis and finally I was able to walk with a shuffling gait. I had no feelings under my deception except pressure. I lost so much muscle that I started inflating like a balloon. I'm normally 125-135 but my husband died and the grief was so overwhelming that I went up to 110. One day I look down (Sadness left me hanging around in my sweatpants and rarely showering.) I was showering and my stomach was so big I couldn't see my legs.

  • New
