I have used microMend and it has worked very well. It was easy to attach and remove. I was happy that it stayed intact during the shower without having to cover it or put on another microMend. It arrived quickly. I am very satisfied with the product and have recommended it to my family and friends. I agree with other reviewers that this is way better than going to the doctor or the ER, especially now during the pandemic.

After a new tear, the tape (butterfly or otherwise) can let you down. Moisture from tissue fluid wets the tape and renders it unusable. The little brackets in these lids are the answer to this problem. They dig into the skin like stitches. The app does no harm. Of course, the wound has to be clean before it can be closed. For more serious injuries, this may help get you to the emergency room. I would have them with me in any emergency or first aid kit.

Good idea, bad execution. I broke my finger earlier. Both sets had minimal stickiness and hold. Didn't take 24 hours. But the biggest problem is that the device itself caused STICKS. Tiny metal rods have sharp edges in the area closest to the wound. My son now has tiny puncture wounds that bleed in addition to the original laceration. There is a return request. Just installed and applied. We couldn't afford to go to the ER for something held together with butterfly bandages, but needed something that would last longer and didn't have to be changed every day (didn't want to reopen the wound by pulling and cleaning). It says it can stay for a week. I had to use two and the only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is that you shouldn't overlap the micro repairs so the center is a little open and ends up being larger than the rest of the scar.

Stitches were removed too early and the wound did not heal. I tried to fix it but no luck. Didn't want to spend another €90 on new stitching. Found this while searching the internet for some kind of butterfly headband. I was able to put it on myself (after carefully reading the instructions) and it holds up great! The idea is great, but the application requires work. Before applying I shaved, cleaned, disinfected and dried the areas around the wound and the day worked great. I followed the directions and held each side for a few seconds before removing my finger and it seemed to stick well. During the day I took it easy and didn't seem to have any problems. Then towards the end of the day he just jumped out. The same with the second, the next day. I don't know if I had a bad batch or if they can't handle

This product works exactly as promised. I fell on the edge of the step, resulting in a deep cut on the front of my knee. It was bleeding profusely and every time I moved my knee it would open up and start bleeding again. I thought about getting stitches but as far as Covid is concerned I didn't really like the idea.
