Incredibly durable, just a little difficult to move.

Based on my experience with the RODE PSA 1, I have to say that the build quality of this fork is about the same in terms of strength and stability, but slightly worse when it comes to getting things going at the pivot point bring points. It takes a bit to get moving smoothly and that's really the only complaint I have at the moment. So for about half the price of a RODE triple clamp, you get about the same build quality and use. Yes I would suggest buying this if you need to save $50.

It can hold a Shure SM7B up to 5 pounds

Yes it's short, I prefer it short than long, I put it in the corner to the left of my desk and it works fine. You might want a longer one for $105, but think about it, it will shake back and forth, there's less vibration with it, I even suggest using it upside down if you're building yourself a cabin by putting it on hanging from the ceiling, the problem is that this is a desk mount but it has a screw holding it in place which you can make yourself and drill a hole in the pipe just big enough…

NOT very adjustable, flexible or movable.

1) I need to tug on it, tug on it, and I want it to be adjustable and flexible. 2) For the price and the "Heavy Duty" label, it's quite small. For example, you can't place it behind a 24" or 27" screen for a microphone to be placed on top of it. Revain has products that are made with roughly the same characteristics for a third the price. The reviewers who say it's difficult are right, and I should have heeded that warning. I also think it would be a mistake for other reviewers to say that the…

The best budget alternative.

This book stand is definitely worth its price. It is very similar to the $100 RODE lever but costs half. Where the lever connects to the bracket is a bit wobbly due to the way it connects to the clamp (you insert it and tighten a screw that presses onto a separate clamp that holds the lever in place and position, but still allows the hand to be locked). rotates.) And I believe that this part is plastic and may wear out after long-term use. The elbow joints are a bit tight out of the box, you…

Hazza! There is no audio and a clip worth cutting over!

We bought two of these to stream (Tetra_Nerdles on Twitch) and you hear nothing from these hands! A lot of people have mentioned the stiffness in the hand, but that's really only because it's brand new and to be honest we love how stiff it is. It supports our Blue Yeti (these are heavy mics) better, even with sound deadening cobwebs attached to it. The clamp really convinced us. Every other mic boom has a 2" maximum clamp, while the bad guy's has a 4" maximum! The extra two inches really makes…

It took about 5 minutes to ruin my desk cover

I bought this product after trying the rode boom because it had a higher weight limit, was half the price and had great reviews. Received it today after an extra day's delay in delivery with no explanation, but I was still excited to finally install it. The arm was slightly smaller than Rode's but seemed well built. I attached my shock absorber and MXL 4000 condenser mic to the bracket and mounted the clamp to my desk which is very well made with thick protective glass on the surface. I…
