Microphone is rubbish, picture is grainy, more like 720p

The name says it all but I'll be rougher in my actual review. I went ahead and gave a generous 2 stars as it physically captures video audio and lets the computer see that information, it just does it so badly it's not worth buying. Now onto the smoking pile of reviews for this smoking pile of cameras. This piece of junk sounds worse than cutting out the headphones and plugging the speakers into a mic, which is the original that works and sounds better. .It only picks up "good" sound at about 5

The microphone is bad for computer accessories and peripherals

The camera picture is good, but the overall product is terrible. The built-in mic is of poor quality and when the device is plugged in it constantly overrides the AV inputs to make the built-in mic the default device, even though I already have a full headset plugged in. The built-in microphone does not work. can't hear everything i say and others say i have a deep voice when i speak. Every time I restart my computer, the device overrides my audio input if I have a headset plugged in, so I…

Terrible sound in AV accessories

I ordered this so I don't have to leave my laptop on my desk during work meetings. I am very disappointed with the sound quality of the microphone. With my sound settings set to max, it's still too muffled and quiet. Other reviews will point out that this is not a defect, it is simply the way this product is. I also have the lighting/contrast disabled and there is no way to adjust it. After a few minutes, return to the box.

Wide angle but terrible with light difference and problems turning on the computer

the camera works fine, but when there is light in front of you, your face becomes dark and the background becomes lighter. Edit: I had a very small but persistent problem after a while. Every time I turn on the computer, I have to unplug the camera's USB port and respond to it. My computer doesn't recognize the USB device until you unplug it and plug it back in. High quality and easy setup

I know technology has gotten better with driver downloads, but this webcam was very basic. All you have to do is plug in a USB port and you're good to go. I'm a graduate student and my image quality is much higher than everyone else's on my Zoom calls. There is no noticeable lag through the camera input. This bad boy comes in an unbranded box. You plug it in and it works. The cable is long enough. It's 1080p and has a microphone (albeit a bad one) if you need one. The sensor struggles in high and low light conditions, making the image oversaturated and appearing to dip a bit towards the red. It has no settings and minimal face tracking.
