Use it with my buggy. Makes a big difference to my sound. Pleases. It's annoying that I have to click on it every time I record. I don't know if all mics are like this or just this one. But overall a good buy.

Not exactly what I expected, not much deflection and terrible noise during operation. Any camera vibration is transmitted directly to the microphone. This is a tiny electret condenser microphone with a sound quality similar to the built in microphone on my Canon t5i. The built-in microphones sound better on my Sony and Canon 80d cameras.

I bought this for my Lumix FZ1000. I wish I would like this mic but I just don't get good results with it. Maybe I have a lemon. I have to crank it up on the mic (20+dB) and in the camera (6+dB) for it to pick up sound at a reasonable level. The camera's built-in microphone is much more sensitive than this microphone. (I have a Mic-05) I can return it and try another mic.

Bottom line, this isn't an expensive mic, but as the manufacturer says, the mic is a lot better than the built-in mic on my camcorders. I can't tell you how it would perform outside as my application is more like a studio setup, but indoors, even with the fans blowing directly onto the mic, a simple foam windscreen was able to eliminate most background noise.
