My old grater takes a lot of effort and makes larger pieces that have a spicier flavor and color. I will be using this recipe for recipes that mix zest with salad dressing or brownies.

Finely grates ginger and does not grate when fresh (unlike when frozen). Beautiful and compact, easy to carry and use. Took it to work to make fresh lemon ginger tea and was very happy with it. I will probably buy for the whole family!

That little swing is great. It only removes the outer layer of the citrus, not the bitter white peel. I used to think it was ok to use my grater, but this device is much faster, safer, easier and better. It is also easily rinsed off under running water. The only thing I'd like to add is a lid to keep the blades covered when it's in my drawer.

It's easy to use and compact so it can be stored in a small kitchen. I love this tool, I use it not only for slicing but also for chopping garlic. This works with very little effort and the end result is a neat little stack to toss onto your plate. Cleaning is very easy: you can wash it by hand or in the dishwasher. Thanks to the rounded shape, food doesn't get stuck anywhere.

We all need that perfect condiment. Small, slim, robust. It's small and slim. Once you understand how the blade detaches from the silicone holder, it should be relatively easy to clean. My first one broke when I ripped the silicone mount while removing the blade. Then I studied the technique, but unfortunately I had the blockage in the caput. However, I liked it so much that I bought another one. This time I am very careful when inserting/removing the blade. To be advised.

I've been waiting a long time to find a zest with a compartment to catch the zest and I was so happy to find this product. It worked great for two months until the metal shell ripped the silicone holding it in place. I bought a second one in bed, bath and beyond and it did the same thing. Unfortunately, the Zesting's strength is too strong for the rubberized silicone that holds it together. I hope they fix this in the future by using metal on metal.
