Too much delay. - Computer Accessories & Peripherals

Only thing it's good for is watching videos. Too much input lag to make it a viable alternative to something like PeakDo 60GHz Wireless HDMI or Intel WiGig. It's a very expensive, very limited slide presentation tool.

Pros
  • Regular Price
Cons
  • Doubtful

Using an HDMI cable gave perfect sync, but.

I was hoping that this wireless 4K display adapter from Microsoft would open in sync with my computer monitor to match the projection to the TV screen, but like Chromecast between the monitor and TV screens for full synchronization . Otherwise it works great. (Chase)

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Style 90

It works with Windows 10 PC laptops and workstations

The wireless display adapter is working properly. My concerns were whether it would work with a PC workstation like it does with laptops. And of course it worked great. No delays when watching videos and documents are displayed perfectly. I am very happy with my purchase and plan to purchase several more for large screen TVs.

Pros
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • Security

I'll take another one,

It's nice to have light and small devices like the Surface Pro 7, but then you're also limited by a nice small screen. I'm used to 25 Dell displays that I really like and could connect a cable to. However, it's just nice to be able to do it wirelessly. I bought one at work and will be taking one for home and one for my wife. All you have to do is right click on the display and it will find the wired device you have connected to the display. It is powered by the display's USB port.

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Something else

Do not buy this item. Turn off every 20 minutes.

Microsoft 4k Wireless Display Adapter disconnects every 20 minutes. and you have lost the connection and have to start over. It's awkward for a home school or business presentation. We have followed all support steps from Microsoft and other websites. and nothing"nada" I have a surface about 5.6, now 7 years old. but unfortunately Apple products have shown better quality and functionality. and Microsoft won't be there any time soon.

Pros
  • great product
Cons
  • makes me nervous

Does not allow streaming

I bought this adapter to stream from my tablet to a screen across the room. Unfortunately it doesn't work for that. I'm still giving 3 stars because the quality is great, I'm just really disappointed that it doesn't work for what I wanted. I didn't see anything in the reviews or literature about it that made me aware of this fact before I bought it. After getting it and hooking it up I tried to see if there was a workaround, I tried updating the firmware on the device, checked the Microsoft…

Pros
  • Computer accessories and peripherals
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Works great when it works but intermittently

This works great when it seems to work but fails VERY when connected wirelessly. (I use it just a dozen feet from the TV on my Surface Pro 4, so I really wasn't expecting these issues. It's not exactly line of sight, but it's close, and really almost nothing happened inside.) More annoying than stalling, lagging, and desperately trying to catch up with the picture when the connection is lost, the audio can become out of sync. Audio timing is more important than video quality, but the MS…
