Came for a cutter. The tongs are a great bonus.

I may have been very lucky with the quality but for my use both wire cutters and pliers are surprisingly good. I use heavy gauge electrical wire and other soft plastics (like zip ties). I'm writing this review because I'm impressed with the accuracy of the connection of the tips as shown in the photos I'm attaching. I bought this set just for pliers but the pliers have become my favorite for fine work (and I've spent 3x more for just good pliers). I hope this supplier's quality control (andโ€ฆ

Tailor is great. The pliers are not very good.

First off, it's a cheap set, and when it comes to tools, the cheaper the price, the more they lack precision and quality, but these cutters don't seem to defy that logic. The knives I received are sharp, with precise tips that cut flush and make cutting 3D parts easier. Now the included pliers are the complete opposite. You would think (at least I would) that since they are sold to assemble 3D models they would be a special size with a thin nose to allow the tabs to be reached, twisted andโ€ฆ

Not suitable for cutting hard metals for jewelery making.

I bought these tools to start making jewelry from home. I should mention that the moment I used the cutters, I immediately noticed a huge notch in the middle of the cutters, right where I'm cutting the metal. After 1 use, the knives deteriorate. 1 the wire was cut, also the wire was bent between the wire cutters and instead of being cut, the wire cutters were over the wire and the wire was not even cut; only hanging between the incisors. First impression; Not good. The tongs are the only reason
