I bought these tools to start making jewelry from home. I should mention that the moment I used the cutters, I immediately noticed a huge notch in the middle of the cutters, right where I'm cutting the metal. After 1 use, the knives deteriorate. 1 the wire was cut, also the wire was bent between the wire cutters and instead of being cut, the wire cutters were over the wire and the wire was not even cut; only hanging between the incisors. First impression; Not good. The tongs are the only reason I kept them. Worst pair of knives I've ever bought. I ended up spending twice as much for just one pair: a pair of bead memory tongs that worked straight away and didn't break after only 1 use which is amazing! I give this product 2 stars just for the pliers. DO NOT buy these cutters for heavy metals and wires. Suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu in through by through by with a tiny wire that's as flimsy as a string, but other than that; Do not buy them for memory wire or hard wire for jewelry making or other wire related projects. I promise you will be very saddened by the results. Save yourself the stress of searching again. Just get a good pair. You really do get what you pay for in this case.
