Works perfect. A relay must be connected to switch the ignition on/off.

I installed this on my Arctic Cat Wildcat 4x to control the voltage in a dual battery setup. That works great. I connected it to a relay to isolate the ground from the device. This relay uses Trigger+. It turns on/off the monitor along with the ignition. If you don't connect it that way, it's in a persistent state. I have 2 Odyssey PC925's installed with Cole Hersee 85A Smart Isolator. I also installed an instant boost switch so if my starter battery dies I can "jump off" the starter battery.

Pros
  • Pleasing
Cons
  • Good but not great

No on/off switch makes it a parasitic consumer

I used this when installing a dual battery system. Unfortunately it doesn't read the voltage from the second battery where it is connected to the insulating solanoid with a 4 AWG wire. I suspect it has something to do with the 4 AWG wire resistance since I can correctly measure the voltage with a voltmeter. I suspect I need to run a wire to the trunk where the second battery is installed. So far, the readings have been accurate for the first battery. I really wish it had an off/on switch as…

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Doubtful

Did exactly what I wanted

Installed it in my camper van to monitor chassis and battery voltage while driving. That does exactly what I want. I connected the main wire to the switched chassis power supply and the auxiliary wire to the house battery. It only shows up when the ignition is on, which is what I wanted. The main purpose of this display is to control the system that links the batteries together to charge them from the alternator while driving as I often use heavy loads such as a propane fridge while driving and

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Not automatic

Both power supplies must be connected to read the "AUX " connection.

I bought this unit to work with isolated batteries in my car and to monitor the voltage on both batteries when they are not connected. I got it, hooked it up to a DC power supply and connected the wires, the MAIN voltage shows up with no problems, when I connect it to the "AUX" connection point I get nothing. When I connect the MAIN jack and the AUX jack, it shows voltage. I don't have to keep both of them all the time just to display one. What if I turn on the momentary switch so it's not…

good dual battery voltage indicator

arrived quickly. well packed. I also installed a dual battery kit in a UTV. Just made a wiring harness, hooked it up to the batteries and it works great. You can easily see each battery's voltage in daylight, and it looks great both day and night. Happy with the purchase.Edit: The counter is set to 10 days. It consumes electricity and drains the battery over time if left uncharged. To solve this problem, set the power switch to cut off the power from the main cable +. When installed in a…

Batteries not monitored separately, too inaccurate

Problem #1: I shorted two contacts for two battery inputs, connected a battery and the two displays show 0.1V different. I then hooked up a Fluke voltmeter and found that one was high at 0.08v and the other was low at 0.07v. I have tried other batteries with similar results. The normal voltage of a battery changes about 1 volt from fully charged to almost empty, so I believe this is a 10% SOC error. I bought this dual battery monitor to read the voltage of two batteries in a starter and "home"…
