Great sensor that feels accurate and looks amazing once installed. The blue is easy to read in bright sunlight and matches the backlight on my boat's dash panel. Needed a hole saw to cut the right size hole in my John's aluminum boat. Very easy to install. It took small clamps to attach the wires. It's a little smaller than it looks in the picture, but still worth it.

Was a little tricky to install because I had no access other than a hole I made for the troll motor connector next to it which allowed me to insert a finger and poke on the . Drilled a hole in my trailer's wood panel, routed battery cables, installed and connected power and everything worked and looked great for a full 5 minutes. It blinked about 5 times and then wouldn't turn on again, checked the wires with a voltmeter and still the same 12.6 volts on the wires but couldn't get it to light up again. Works great but it's my fault I didn't take a closer look before clicking next. It doesn't match where my old voltmeter was on my boat's console. However, I attach alligator clips to the cables and use them to test the battery before heading to the lake. I love the form, fit and function of this voltmeter. Easy to connect and use. The accuracy was much better than expected (within 1 LSD / 0.1 volt). As others have asked, when 12.57 volts is applied the device reads 12.5 and draws 6.2 mA. I expect the current to vary depending on how many segments are lit. It's a pity that the display segments are white when switched off. There isn't that much contrast between a segment on (beautiful blue) or off (bright white). He badly needs a smoky gray…
