We have always bought Stride Rite shoes for my son and have always been happy with them. As he outgrew kid sizes we switched from Wes sneakers (which were great) to these and I have to say they are very disappointed with how they hold up especially in the toe box after only 3 months of using them have worn and many other times they have not worn them outside as there was still snow on the ground. I think shoes for kids this age still need a reinforced toe, otherwise they just won't hold up. The
