As an automotive enthusiast, I was in search of a portable power source that could jump start even a large engine .I came across a device that fit THE bill - compact yet powerful enough to juice up a V8 engine. The included terminal made the connection easy and hassle-free. As my tests showed the device started the engine without any hiccups. The only con to this otherwise perfect product is a somewhat steep price tag..

As a result of my tests, I determined that this jump starter is not capable of jump-starting a vehicle with a dead battery, despite the manufacturer's claims .The included terminal is flimsy and difficult to attach, making the entire process frustrating..
I really like the product. And I understand that the presence of studs is important. However, the placement of the bolts ended up right in front of the terminals I had to use. enough 2 AWG terminals for my build. (Busbars from the original midnight solar shunt could not be mounted on a Victron 500a shunt.) Tinned copper. Excellent stuff. Works well. The only annoying thing is that the only two 2 AWG terminals on the bus are blocked by the connection bolts (posts). There is nothing that cannot…
