Miele 780511000019 Type AirClean FilterBags Review

There were some doubts about the authenticity of this product. While everything looks fine, no one seems to know for sure. In response to the Q&A I am uploading some photos for the community to view and in case anyone knows anything about the product. It would be nice to know if these are genuine Meile vacuum bags and not fake ones which can damage an expensive vacuum or not work properly with HEPA filtration. Thanks to everyone who answered my questions yesterday.

There is a difference between these bags and the regular bags currently in circulation. I vacuum every day and after using the generic once I noticed more dust in the vacuum. I've also noticed more allergy attacks (we have a dog and I'm allergic to him, but as a fan of cleanliness I've found that there are no problems if I vacuum and vacuum daily) especially after I've vacuumed which tells me that regular bags just don't hold dust as well as these. I'll pay a few bucks more for it and recommend

My husband has asthma so I bought a Miele vacuum cleaner. These bags hold dirt and dust very well. Unlike the Sears Kenmores I have owned before, there is never any dust inside the unit. They also last longer than I expected after reading other online reviews. Our house is about 3000 square meters. Feet combines tile, wood and carpeted floors, including wool rugs and carpeted stairs. Bags last me about 2 months or more before needing to be replaced. I should add that we no longer have children…

These are original Miele bags, not intended for bags. Just a note for those with pets, these bags won't last a month if you have pets that stray. Fur accumulates in the bag differently than regular dirt, and you need to change it a little earlier. I suppose you could take the bag out and 'adjust' the dirt/fur but then you'd just be playing in the dirt and that would defeat the purpose of buying a Miele!
