As a professional dog walker, I always carry a chain collar with me in case the regular flat collar breaks. I choose the large one because it caters to very large breeds like mastiffs and smaller ones like beagles. This sturdy Mighty Paw collar doesn't weigh down the shoulder bag I carry it in.

Bought this collar for a 19kg Jack Russell Terrier. I went with her into the fenced yard, where she jumped and pulled, bending the member in the collar and freeing herself. I'm glad it didn't end up in the open field as intended, otherwise I would have lost it. Do not buy for an active 11 year old dog.

I received the metal dog chain as it arrived very quickly, well packaged in bubble wrap. The chain looks very solid and has no problems in its construction. The only issue I noticed as the advert mentioned that the color of the chain is not dark but silver, the color of the chain I received was more of a light gray shouldn't they advertise that it is silver if it is not the right shade. Otherwise the chain is fine and makes a good collar for walking your pet.

Ordered two dog collars. My pup is growing and although they fit now they will only be useful for a short time. I did not request a refund or replacement, but I did share this information. I was immediately given a code for a significant discount on my purchase when I had to order a larger size. This gesture communicates their interest in customer satisfaction for a long time. The chain is strong and big enough for my 7 month old giant breed, but unfortunately after only 6 days of wear the paint is rubbing off spots. Good thing my big boy isn't pretentious, he's not even interested in painting. However, the collar has a slight metallic odor and I am concerned that it could be exposed to metals that may not need to be in constant contact with the skin.
