A rectangular shape would be better for a photo. The edges are bent, which is not very good in the photos. But it's soft and great for unforgettable dates.

This is exactly what I thought and looks like it would be great for all my baby's monthly photos. The little animals are adorable and the size is perfect. If it were made of a different material it could be softer, but it's still very soft and thick enough not to tangle a squirming baby. Overall I am very happy with this purchase.

I bought 2 duvets from Amazon in about the same price range. The problem with most of these blankets is the poor quality, the material is polyester and some of them are so cheaply made that they are almost see-through. So if you take a picture you can see what you have under the covers in a different color. This blanket is great: 1. Price range 2. Good print quality 3. The material is cotton not polyester4. Easy to iron 5. Later it can be used as a real baby blanket.

The material isn't soft like a blanket - it's almost like felt. There is a circle and indentation to distinguish between days/months/weeks. It was fine when the child was still, but once they could move and grab objects, it was difficult to keep the circle/leaf in the right place. The baby just turned a year old so we used it all year. This baby blanket is very cute. The material is almost like flannel and the patterns almost look like they were painted on. Forest animals look incredibly cute and well designed. The blanket has been washed several times and the pattern hasn't faded much. I feel like the edges of the quilt I received were poorly finished as the edges fold in at the corners so they are not perfectly flat for photos, but I do fold the edges in so that they are flat not so noticeable.
