It is a little heavier than other welding helmets, but this is a very high quality welding helmet. I like the picture quality when welding.

I bought this for a job where I weld flux core and stiff wire. Works perfectly. The price is a bit high for my taste, but hey consumer capitalism!

Husband is in production and he really likes this helmet. The guys he works with tested it when he first used it. He says it makes his job ten times easier.
