M12 12:1 Infrared Temp-Gun by Milwaukee 2278-20 Review

What a cool tool, I bought this for cooking to control the temperature and which doesn't seem very accurate! Milwaukee does not disappoint!

Purchased to monitor grill temperature as well as 3D printing platform temperature. Works great either way, and the ability to display in F* or C* mode is great.

Milwaukee kicked him out of the park again. This heat gun makes my life as an HVAC specialist so much easier. If you are in commercial maintenance or HVAC startup business, this is what you need.

Used to measure charge air temperature in air conditioning systems and works well. It's a little bulkier than a regular Fluke test tool, but knowing I can charge or swap out the battery if needed was a plus.

Using this to take air temperature readings may take a while to get used to as you have to tilt it at a different angle to try to get the right temperature. I use this for cars and it can be a nuisance to get the vent temperature for heating and air conditioning. When used on an exhaust manifold or anything with no air movement it works great (DPF, SCR, Turbo, Intake Temp, A/C Line, Radiator and CAC).

Failed to load media. I like the brightness of the screen. Seems accurate. The m12 battery is my favorite part. These are kings, but it seems you can drop it and everything will be fine. I have so many m12 tools now
