🔧 Milwaukee 48-22-3986 Bold Line Chalk Reel: Efficient and Versatile ELEC Tool Review

The overall construction of the block looks good. The wind is very weak. My old Erwin works perfectly and the new device can't even wind the cord without making a noise like it's about to snap the gears.

The shipper/seller must be very passionate about chalk. The item was sent with a bottle of chalk torn in the teeth. The chalk ran over the block and wedged the line and the chalk stains were everywhere. This is madness!

A solid solid line, ideal for snapping onto dark, bold boards, and also produces clear marker lines that are easy to see. I love the fast wind, the size is comparable to most others. I bought this to replace my Tajima which was "lost" on the website a few months ago and I will not be returning.

So far so good, I only use chalk line from time to time so those who use it every day might need a more expensive one that can handle it. But the average Joe shouldn't have a problem with that. I wish the powder flask they give you had a lid for it. I also watched a video on how to set it up properly and didn't realize I didn't follow some steps to set it up first.

I received this because the Tajima I ordered from Revain was canceled due to the box being damaged in shipping and I needed a chalk line immediately. I have worked with other guys who have had this and the box and they said it was fine. I used the chalk that came with the kit and tried other brands of chalk. Lines are never very nice and clear. I really enjoy using this chalk roller. It seems to be of very high quality, better than others I've used in the past. I usually lay out the chalk lines very quickly and step on them. In the past, this line has broken fairly quickly with other chalk rolls. This has held up well. The included chalk can withstand strong winds as well as light rain. It's also very visible. My big problem is that it's a small tool and doesn't have a belt clip, it's easy to lose because there isn't a belt clip. I…
