Milwaukee Instruments MA800 Refractometer Photometers Review

I can't believe the refractor case doesn't have slots for the solution bottle and droppers. So you need to keep a separate plastic bag for accessories. It just seems like lazy design.

Maybe stupid but I ordered a case and it's not blue at all. It is black. Oddly, the Milwaukee light is black when shown green in the images. I can't say it bothers me but I'll update the pics already.

Ordered this as 'new' and the product received was used with signs of use throughout and the clasp looked like it was about to break. I'll have to order again and see what condition the next one is in.

Great tool for making maple syrup at home, it's a bit difficult to keep all the tools in that one box. You could do this with some extra space to store some small cleaning supplies between tries.

I bought this case for my Milwaukee saline meter. It fits perfectly, but the salinity tester comes with several droppers that don't fit in the case and will break if you force them in. Otherwise, it protects the tester and is easy to hit. I don't even have to take the tester off to use it.

This is the perfect case to protect your refractometer. Ignore the 1-star crybaby as it doesn't come with any calibration fluids. Those that don't need protection, put them on the shelf with the rest of the calibration fluids and tools.

First of all, this is a relatively good case, perfect for a digital refractometer. My only complaint is that it has room for an extra 9V battery but no room for drippers?!?!?! It's not a deal breaker, but it would definitely be nice to have in a case. Even without space for a pipette I would buy it again at any time, remember that its main purpose is to protect the refractometer! It seems like it handles it very well when I end up dropping it.
