    False Advertising

This item is exactly as described. However, they claim I will get the timer and dimmer as part of the 1 1 purchase. I haven't. I have the light with a switch to turn on only blue light, turn off, or full white spectrum. No dimmer or timer. So in my opinion false advertising. But it works great, would have paid less for a different item, would have bought it for the dimmer and timer so it wouldn't be let down, it wasn't actually on. Actually wanted a timer.

love love love! in Fish & Aquatic Pets

I really like this lantern. I've had it for 2 months now and have no problems. My plants grow fantastic and there are no algae problems when I work 10-12 hours a day. I don't use blue light as I don't feel my fish can sleep that well. I recently bought a Hygger backlight and there is NO comparison so I bought another one to replace. You will see the difference in the photos posted. The clearer, the brighter the light of this mark.

So far so good in aquarium lighting

I have a low tech 20 gallon tall with fertilizer. The incidence of light looks great and the plants are happy. The light feels a bit hot (doesn't feel hot) compared to mainstream/mainstream brands. Great value for money at the moment. Hope this lasts a while. I will update if there are problems. Buttons work fine. I don't understand how people can have control problems. Pretty straight forward and follow by accident until you know how it works. It's probably not worth running this at 55 gallons

    Best bang for the buck!

I like this lamp so far. I have it on a standard 5.5 gallon aquarium. Looks very nice and thin. It's perfect for my aquarium. The difference with the built in light that came with the tank is amazing. Now I'm sure I can grow live plants and I'm in the process of installing this tank. I let it run for a few hours before taking photos. It gets warm but not hot. The only complaint is that it's very light and easy to move around with the power button built into the power cord. *Update* Had to send…

Good value for money. Universal LED flashlight

Brightness at the highest settings. works well for plants like Anubias Nanak growing without additional lighting and also seems bright enough for my reference Revain Sword. I use their 30 gallon clear acrylic Bitbon tank so I'm considering adding another to get enough light for the plants that need more light. I could probably put on 3 of these if needed. Timer function leave it on full brightness for 2 hours then switch to moonlight for 6 hours to see at night, overall for $25 they are great…

Could be perfect with a few tweaks.

Many of its shortcomings can be corrected with higher mounts. The light is bright but uneven, causing some areas of the aquarium to be poorly lit and creating a spotlight effect directly under the light source, causing colors to be washed out due to the brightness (this is also partly due to a color temperature that is too cold) . , which is normal for these cheaper lamps). Which brings me to the color temperature - this doesn't look good to me. The Red + White mode has a greenish tinge, while…

    • Hard to tell

Before I start I'll just give a brief description of each photo I uploaded for context: ① Photo showing light coming out with one of my 5.5- gallon cans is used. ② Photo of the tank from a slightly different angle, showing the spread and coverage of the light. ③ Shows what the light above the tank looks like. Here you can see how the hood mounts sit on the rimmed tank and the size of the hood compared to the 5.5 gallon width (tank length: 16.25 inches). ④ Photo shows the position of the LEDs. ⑤
