Works as expected! My 4 year old loves this! My only disappointment is that the tach doesn't go above 2 even when actually revving. The sound is great, I just want the dial to go to higher numbers. Still, it's a fun little addition to his bike. He has an old hot wheel bike that has the original rotating thing broken. So I could easily replace it. Only 2 screws to tighten.

Stopped working after a few weeks, didn't sound great. Got this because my youngest son got a Hot Wheels bike with one of these only way better. Looks cooler and sounds way cooler and more realistic. My oldest son wanted one for his bike and that's about it. I was able to find the one that comes with a hot wheel bike that you can't buy individually. I'm giving it 3 stars because he still liked it but since it broke it was a waste of money.

Good stuff, I'll find a use for it. However, I was hoping it would be a battery powered sound effects unit with a speaker that I wanted to take apart and use in some silly project I had in mind. Instead, it's like one of those old spark guns where you pull the trigger (or twist the "choke" in this case) and the flywheel spins and makes a rattling noise for a few seconds before it slows down. I think a very young kid will like it.
