Dirt Bike L+R Handlebars

Arrives well packaged as described, left and right steering, equals 7 standard/ 8" off-road handlebars. My (probably) stock controls on my 81 Yamaha DT175 were very worn and causing problems when disengaging the clutch. Once installed, I have no more disengagement issues. The cable entry hole seemed a little tight, but I'm a beginner at dirt bikes so this might be designed. A few light taps with a plastic chisel and a rubber mallet installed the cable and everything was smooth after…

Pros
  • Fits 7/8" 22mm handlebars (please check size and photos carefully before purchasing)
Cons
  • Slightly torn

These are not the levers you are looking for.

Keep looking, this is not what you need. The knobs had too much flex and the lever "throw" was no match for the OEM Honda XR100 levers. As others have noted, the hole in the arm for the end of the cable doesn't work with the Motion Pro cables I've purchased. If you don't drill deeper, the hole will be too shallow, causing the cable to misalign with the channel in the arm. This isn't my first rodeo with levers on a bike. Conclusion: Can I get this to work? May be; but I can't recommend it.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Only available in black

Great for older Honda bikes

My son tuned the brake lever on his 1995 XR 100 so I bought this kit to cover both Replacing levers to make them fit each other Fits easily, looks great, works like a charm.

Pros
  • Also fits 7/8" Honda XR80 CRF70 CRF80 XR100 CRF100 Dirt Bike
Cons

Buy Tldr when you need it

Surprisingly cheap for their quality. Obviously they don't fit every brake cable and handlebar. I used them on my moped, they fit great. The rear brake cable clamp was a little big, but after shaving it off it fit. I'm not sure how they'll hold up when put under insane pressure like a real bike would see, but they're great for what I use them for. The mounting hardware even has this interesting dark green color, a nice touch.

Pros
  • Fit Baja 196cc 5.5hp Mini Bike 6.5hp Warrior Heat MB165
Cons
  • Secret

L+R Controls for Off-Road Motorcycles

Will be well packaged and delivered as described. My 81 Yamaha DT175s were very worn and causing problems when disengaging the clutch. I had no further disengagement issues after installation. The cable entry slot seemed a little tight, but I'm new to dirt bikes so this may be intentional. A few light taps with a plastic chisel and rubber mallet installed the cable, and once installed everything was smooth. I haven't installed the front brake yet, but I expect it to work as well as the clutch.

Pros
  • Includes: 1 Pair Alloy Brake Levers
Cons
  • Crumpled Packing
