Android TV Remote with Keyboard

is better than the first one, this backlit button glows while you type so you know what you are typing, no need to turn on the light like the previous one. I recommend it to everyone who uses android tv boxes.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Negative is present

Good voice remote

I bought the A3 because I wanted a voice remote but otherwise it's not much better than the $10 air mouse I already had. One problem, he eats batteries for lunch. I don't know if it's worth the money. PS: I think this remote control is too expensive!

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Fits

Not as good as my last one!

My previous remote control like this one still works for me, with a small defect I have to live with. But I wanted an upgrade, so I bought one that's a step ahead of this one. It started with a serious defect, namely, it moves too slowly! I type keys and it stops for 3-5 seconds before moving!

Pros
  • Handy thing
Cons
  • Hard to say

I like it, also works with SkyStream and Nvidia

I like it! Also works with SkyStream III Plus and Nvidia Shield. Unlike the A-2 and A-2 Lite and the air mouse that comes with SkyStream III plus, the Minix A-3 solved the battery vampire issues. Batteries in this case last a few months, not half a week or two weeks (remote control batteries usually last from several months to a few years).

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Requires socket

Needs Improvement: TV & Video

Major upgrade needed. The first didn't work out of the box (doesn't light up/react at all), the second still works. The unit looks like a work in progress, I opened it up to find ways to fix the first one, and the packaging looks like it was assembled in a hurry, the circuit board has all sorts of sharp edges, and the welding requires serious work Attention, there is no repair. possible. The feel of the buttons is a loud click, it's not a silent remote control. The battery lasts about 3 months…

  • Sleek design

nvidia Shield: TV & Video

If you want to use this with a screen, you get a play/pause/FF/RW button, a menu button that works in Kody, actual volume buttons instead a to press touch slider, full keyboard for text input and air mouse. However, you will lose the ability to use voice input. It's definitely worth upgrading the Shield remote, but I'd probably go for the slightly cheaper A2 or something with backlit buttons if I knew the voice button wouldn't work.

Pros
  • Rugged Finish
Cons
  • Quick Guide

Compatible with Android TV

I bought this to replace my MINIX NEO A2 as the A3 has voice input amongst other features. It works fine for voice input with my NVIDIA Shield TV, but I have to select voice input on the shield screen to use it. The Shield's native remote control works anywhere. The main features of the A3 are a QWERTY keyboard, air mouse and microphone input, although the keyboard is not a full Windows keyboard. Alt, Control, and Windows features are missing. The function keys and the caps lock keys are…

Pros
  • Handsfree
Cons
  • Hard to tell

A great Android remote with a fatal flaw.

This is my review of the 2nd gen MiniX Neo A3 remote focusing on using Nvidia Shield TV Pro. First, let me say that I really wanted this Neo A3 remote to like it, but it has one flaw (we'll get to that later). On closer inspection, this is one of the prettiest and best designed Android TV remotes I've bought and the keyboard and air mouse that comes with it are fantastic! If you're buying it to use with a MiniX approved Android TV, this new A3 Neo remote is a great addition. But if you're…
