Great product! It is excellent for viewing slides and negatives. I just wish the instruction manual was a bit more complete. The instructions for watching each movie type don't say you have to go into the settings to change the type, but I figured it out myself. Thumbs up for this gadget.

Scans old slides great and pulls out more colors than I thought it would. It takes some practice to get used to the buttons and functions at first, but overall it's very easy to use. I wish the screen was a little bigger or it could plug directly into my laptop, but the small size makes it very convenient for storage.

This viewer is quite convenient after selecting the film type, but there are a few steps. The viewer cannot take in the old large negatives. The films do not always remain in the holder, which is impractical when the tape is constantly being changed. I grow old on my arm and have been able to go through and throw away hundreds of negatives of photographs that no one wants. I will lend this to a family that needs to tidy up their photos and keep for my son to check his childhood negatives…
