This viewer is quite convenient after selecting the film type, but there are a few steps. The viewer cannot take in the old large negatives. The films do not always remain in the holder, which is impractical when the tape is constantly being changed. I grow old on my arm and have been able to go through and throw away hundreds of negatives of photographs that no one wants. I will lend this to a family that needs to tidy up their photos and keep for my son to check his childhood negatives. Overall a good investment. But I didn't use the save image feature.
