Buyer beware! Received the camera today and the shutter is stuck and won't move. It's hard to believe they would have shipped a camera with a stuck shutter. It's very easy to say it doesn't work. Just wind up the camera. It says it's in very good condition, but that's not true.

I needed a 35mm handheld camera for my son's high school photography class. I checked local camera stores and they all wanted over $200 for a used camera. Luckily I found this seller who sells used cameras at very reasonable prices. I felt comfortable because they said they test all their cameras to make sure they work.

I liked how easy it was to use. That's all you need from a film camera, but I have to say the pictures I took weren't too sharp, I think it's the lens, or maybe I screwed up in processing, but it adds up more to add a homemade look. to photographs, for example when my mother took pictures of me and my sisters with her disposable cameras. I bought a camera for photography class. It's not easy to find 35mm film cameras these days. Photo stores that are still in operation may have a used model or two, but they're probably not of good quality. My Minolta is metal, not plastic. This is a big plus as metal parts don't wear out as quickly as plastic parts. However, the plastic parts are of good quality. This camera is a great buy for a 35mm SLR. It's lightweight, made of durable plastic, has all the features you need to get started, and uses MD mount lenses. The only problem is that some of them can have small leaks. Bought two with the same problem. I solved this problem by cutting out strips of the black adhesive sheet and pasting them along the edges of the film body. Advertised and rated as excellent condition (very minor issues) with a Minolta 50mm lens which was in excellent condition. What I received was a Cosina 35-70mm lens with about 60% fogging or mold on the inner lens. Definitely not what I was looking for and I (because I was expecting 50mm) didn't have a lens cap or other accessories for this rustic lens. The camera body itself seems intact and certainly doesn't have the same issues, clean mirrors and glass inside with some dust on the viewfinder
