This is an old fashioned design, but it has stood the test of time. Most modern dustpans have a plastic edge that is dented or simply falls off, rendering the dustpan unusable. But the rim of this particular dust cup is part of the shell, not a separate nozzle. This is a heritage product that will outlive you.

This bucket is very well made for the money. However, the manufacturer stuck a white sticker in the middle of the tank with a very strong adhesive. If you leave the decal on, it will turn brown very quickly and become nasty from dirt being swept into it. When you remove it, the glue will catch dirt and also look very ugly. Unfortunately, this turned a 4 or 5 star item into a useless 1 star item simply by putting a sticker on it by the manufacturer. Find a similar pan without the sticker.

Great shovel - strong but not heavy at all. Meets all basic requirements: the rim fits perfectly to the floor and is not too thick to sweep dust into the drip tray.
