What can I say, this is my favorite scarf. I have different colors and they look warm and soft. Good for everyday look. And it will come in handy during a robbery - just pull it up (just kidding) :)

I wore it on a horseback ride on a windy, cold January day. That was great. Kept the wind out of my face without adding bulk. Lots of warmth, light weight and can be stowed in your saddlebag for next time.

I don't like that it's made in China and that it's a bit big. My head is small and only sits securely on me if I lift my back almost halfway up the top of my head. Feels comfortable and hasn't been used in the cold yet but if it's anything like a hat it will keep you warm.

Overall I liked this product. I wore it skiing once. It wasn't as soft as I was hoping and initially felt tight, but as the day went on it stretched a bit and I felt fine. I like that it's lightweight and keeps you warm. I followed the washing instructions and she put it in the dryer. Now it's really small for me. I'm exchanging it and plan on hand washing only. hope this works 3 stars for hassle and unreliable washing instructions.

Nice soft coat, great colour, everything as advertised. However, since it fits the shape, it stops at my collarbone. This means I have to wear a turtleneck underneath this gaiter to protect my neck. But I don't like turtleneck sweaters. So I wear crew necks (like a shirt) or boat necks, which means there's always bare skin between the leggings and the t-shirt or sweater. Need a scarf to close the gap. Unfortunately, this defeats the purpose of this article. will be a gift for a diver lover.

These are exactly what I was looking for, slim wool gaiters to keep the neck and chin warm in the harsh Chicago winter. I've worn it with a down coat on 90 minute walks in 5 degree weather and found it warm enough. Merino wool does not absorb odors even after repeated wear. Wool feels soft and supple for a comfortable fit and comfort. It smells like wool (but pleasant for my nose buds).
