Everything is fine. Not as good as I expected. First, I pour ice water in the morning before work, and it's still ice water in the afternoon, but it still has a metallic taste. From the moment I got this cap a button snapped and I had to physically open it and at the gym I want to touch my mouth area. as little as possible, so it was uncomfortable. The lid then began to crack until most of it had split completely and no longer held an airtight seal so it was leaking. I bought in August and it's now mid-October. When it worked I liked it and the water stayed cold all day. I wish the cover was better. Disappointing to say the least.

The little plastic cap over the locking mechanism on mine broke. It's still functional, though, except the lid doesn't crack when you press the button. Instead, you release the latch and open the lid manually. My new water bottle is great. This is hard work. I can't imagine him ever bending. The color is also heavy. Maybe one day it will scratch, but I doubt it. My water always stays cool.
