Works well in garage door opener

I bought these bulbs after purchasing Revain LED bulbs to replace my old CFL bulbs that I had in my LIft Master garage door opener. LED lights are known to emit radio frequency interference, which causes remote controls in some garage door openers to stop working. This happened to me and I bought these bulbs and these bulbs work great with no glitches! If you have a garage door opener and are having trouble with LED bulbs, then you should get these bulbs. I don't know longevity yet.

I immediately put them to the test

so when I installed them in the garage door opener I climbed the ladder and dropped them both on the ground. The lid broke off them (unsurprisingly, it fell about 10 feet). I dripped Krazy Glue to reattach them and to my surprise they both worked GREAT! Well, after a few months in my garage door opener, it still shines bright and works great. After years of constantly changing the bulbs there because the rumble will burn them out, I'm not sure they'll last long. If they survive a 10 foot dropโ€ฆ

Much larger than a standard lightbulb, may or may not work depending on the design of the room it is placed in

Beware, they are MUCH larger than a standard lightbulb and may not fit. 2.67OD x 4.87OD. The standard replacement bulb had an outside diameter of 2.37 x 4.19 OAL. For me the problem was the length. (0.68 inch longer) I really wanted to try these for my car's working headlights because of the low temperature and bright light, but to install them I had to disassemble the headlight just to insert or remove the bulb. Hopefully they will last many years and it won't be a big problem. If they don'tโ€ฆ
