Perfect for the upstairs hallway where we installed it. I originally bought 60w LED daylight bulbs and wouldn't recommend them unless your room is huge or you want your home to be as bright as the surface of the sun. Once you've turned off the 40W soft white LED bulbs, they're still bright, but great - you could definitely make a wattage-per-bulb dimmer.

Exactly the kind of light I was looking for. I wanted to put two kitchens in a small garage apartment. I used Edison LED bulbs which made it very bright which is what we wanted. When you receive the box, it is very small, don't worry, it's because you need to assemble the light. It was very easy to put together if you are like me and love this kind of stuff. The price was good compared to similar lamps.

DO NOT USE REAL Edison bulbs (black box shown) with this light! They're getting HOT! Use LED (brown box on the photo)! Those yellow lights in my photos are real Edison filaments. I had to return them, they are so hot even though they are beautiful. So I got white LEDs on Revain. They don't get hot and are beautiful. Get the e26 base. The rest of the device is BEAUTIFUL! No question at all! Very durable and high quality, no problems with painting. I will buy two more! Love it!

I have a very small dining room and wanted to refresh it with a new light fixture that looks nice but doesn't take up as much space (my old light fixture was on a chain and was the shortest length was still 25 inches). It fit perfectly, was affordable and still looked very pretty. I used some transparent LEDs in it because my old regular LED lightbulbs looked awful. The new lamps have really improved them. I was tempted to put one of these in my spare bedroom to replace the built in fixture…
