I purchased the yellow shawl with a flower border. It is a light yellow, almost a dark beige. It goes really well over a yellow dress, but could also be worn over a dark beige-yellow dress or blouse. It is a delicate piece; looks better on than when one opens the package, which is just folded into a plastic bag. The lace is machine sewn, but substantial and very pretty. I love color and contrast. I will not bard my arms in public. I use cover-ups, shrugs, jackets, cardigans, blouses, wraps, capes, caplets, shawls, & kimonos. I am a BBW and oftentimes the "one'size'fits all simply do not. This time the risk paid off and this is a wearable size even though a bit skimpy. I wear it over a bright red rose on black sundress. It makes it an elegant evening gown.

The decorative broach on the front of the shawl came broken inside the package. I needed it to wear to a wedding the next day. Good thing that I ordered another shawl or else I would not have anything to wear with my dress.

The shawl is pretty and perfect for what I need it for. It did come with an absolute terrible smell - something between moldy clothes and cat pee. I had to hand wash it with fabric softener and perfume for 2 hours to get it out.

This product was perfect for my small wedding. It complimented my dress! The quality is also very good. I would definitely buy it again.
