Dead on arrival inside

I had to trust other reviewers when they wrote "Out of the box broken and the plugs fit really badly." Yes, that's exactly what I experienced. When I opened the box, it smelled like burnt electronics. Also noticed that one of the screws was loose as if someone had opened the case. Don't waste your time with this garbage. I feel like someone screwed it up, ordered and replaced the bad with a good one and returned the bad. It certainly looked like it had been used or refurbished. I just ordered a

Good power delivery but makes terrible noise when off

Keeps making a loud electrical pop when I turn off or put my desktop to sleep. It's like the same sound an old TV makes when suddenly unplugged. It's quite disconcerting, but other than that, it's a good replacement for the fanless Prime Titanium 700 I was originally looking at.

Pros - Fully modular - All black ribbon cables (24-pin mains) - Absolute silence/no coil squeak - Packaging cons - You can find some other gold power supplies that are cheaper but complete modular cost about the same price. Not to mention that this product is fanless and there are no similar products in this price range. Purchased for a fully passive hibernate Linux install. There is no noise at all.
