I have two mixed-race boys. One has very curly and curly hair that is very thick and the other has the same thick hair only he has bigger curls. So, two quite different hair types, but this brush works wonders for both! This is the best brush we've come across and I really see no reason to look any further! I only gave it 4 stars because it arrived without a pair of bristles. Otherwise it's a great brush and very well made. Since then, no more bristles have fallen out and my daughter even likes to steal them from me for her own hair. I've used it with both wetbrush and drybrush and love it.
