This was my second pair of Mizuno running shoes. Advantages: very light shoe, hard-wearing hard sole. Some shoes make it look like you're walking on marshmallows to better absorb bumps on the sidewalk. Not these shoes. This shoe is significantly narrower than the Wave 5. I've had three previous Wave Prophecy's and the results have been positive. The Wave Prophecy 7 is not the shoe of its predecessors. I've been wearing the Mizuno Wave Prophecy for a long time and the quality has deteriorated over the years. I bought a new pair and they had loose stitching and glue around the sole.
