    Very comfortable running shoes.

The Wave series has produced very durable running shoes. They lack some cushioning compared to previous Mizunos, but are much more comfortable than other brands I've tried. Mizuno is a little more expensive than some brands, but the stability and comfort they offer make it worth it to me. .

    Pros
    • Cool and comfortable - great shoes!
    Cons
    • Not suitable for people with weak ankles

    Revainrating 4 out of 5

Pretty high heel compared to Adidas

They're light and "high" - if you need that for running, great. But I find the heel too high for my taste. I feel like I'm being forced to walk on my toes and I'm still dragging my heel. My previous pair of running shoes was Adidas and I didn't feel like it. Also, the sole is just really high, all over the foot (how much padding). like tennis or basketball or literally anything but running and walking. I understand they are made for running, not tennis, but be careful nonetheless.

    Pros
    • By far my favorite shoe! I have large neutral feet and they fit perfectly!
    Cons
    • Poor leg ventilation.

    Confusing title and description

I don't know why Mizuno sells the Waveknit 3 as the Wave Rider 23, but it's not the same shoe. The WaveRider is a high-end running shoe, the Waveknit is not. I returned the wrong item.

    Pros
    • Very comfortable shoes for pickles and walks.
    Cons
    • May cause leg fatigue

    Please remove negative feedback

I bought these shoes from Revain - Mizuno Men's Wave Rider 23 WAVEKNIT Running Shoe, Campanula-Vapor Blue, 10D last October. Although I bought it last year, I only started wearing it 2 weeks ago and the sneaker has a tear (please note the tear on the right shoe in the attached picture). I am very disappointed in the product and will not be buying Mizuno again. Edit: Mizuno is sending me a replacement pair and I'd appreciate it if you could remove the original review. Thanks.

    Pros
    • Great!
    Cons
    • Not suitable for people with high arches

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great sneakers at a great price!

If you're looking for a comfortable, neutral shoe with a fairly large heel-to-toe offset and generous width, this shoe might be for you. I alternate them with Brooks Ghost 12 and Mizuno Wave Sky (also knitted version). The price here on Revain is the best I could find. I am very happy with my purchase.

    Pros
    • For me, these are the best shoes for running and training. It feels like I'm cheating.
    Cons
    • There is a lack of flexibility

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

What do shoe number classifications really mean?

If only Revane or Mizuno could explain what the numbers mean? What is episode 3 or episode 16 or episode 23? They differ from each other - how do they differ?

    Pros
    • I mainly use Mizunos for my training. These are fantastic shoes. I like the cushioning and stability. I bought two pairs!
    Cons
    • Limited arch support

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good walking shoes best in my rating

I walk about 3 miles a day. They have the cushioning and stability I was looking for so I could enjoy trail riding. That's my feedback.

    Pros
    • I just have to say that it is very comfortable and light there.
    Cons
    • For some people the toe box is too narrow

    Revainrating 2 out of 5

Big disappointment from the previous model

The Mizuno Wave Rider 22 Knit running shoe for men was far superior to this new model. On the 22 model, after many months, the rear heel was worn down to a piece of plastic. This new version does nothing to calm foot training. The shin rails are terrible. Why ruin a perfect early version?

    Pros
    • Very convenient
    Cons
    • Too narrow for people with wider feet.

    dollar value

I like it, comfortable throughout, available at a good price. A normal stack height is welcome. The depreciation is average, the weight is average. Great cup and heel support. Cons for some people: Cushioning isn't like a marshmallow and isn't as light as a feather. Knitted fabric warms a little in summer but is comfortable on cool days. I wear size 14D and it fits me perfectly. Wide feet, maybe it's worth taking a look at the width E. Just my subjective opinion.

    Pros
    • Ideal
    Cons
    • Not suitable for people with flat feet

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

    3rd and 4th pair bought

These are great running shoes for both on and off road running. The knitted upper stretches and conforms somewhat to the shape of the foot and provides a good fit, the padding is good and I've had no issues with it. I wear them for general training and road racing and also use my Altra Lone Peak 6 (with sock) for cross country runs where I need a little more grip and like the built in sock compatibility, but I prefer to run in Mizunos.

    Pros
    • Excellent item number
    Cons
    • May cause calf cramps

    Meets expectations: my rating

I got them working and they work fine. The fit is normal. These are very sturdy shoes. I don't know if that changes when they break in.

    Pros
    • Great cushioning and heel support but a little on the narrow side. Next time I'll try 1/2 size bigger.
    Cons
    • Everything was fine except for the light green mint color.

Good leisure shoes - my new test report

My second pair of Waveriders. I've only had them a week, but I've ridden them about 50 miles. Good cushioning and ankle support. They're a little heavier than the Saucony shoes I usually wear (Ride, Liberty), but it's not distracting. The previous pair had incredible durability. I kept them well past 600 miles and they still retained most of their original bounce.

    Pros
    • Fits well, feels great!
    Cons
    • Poor ankle support

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

    Ordered 3 pairs: my rating

Size 10 was perfect. I ordered the 101/2 first because 15 years of wearing the Mizuno 101/2 has worked. These shoes run half a size smaller. Shoes are durable. I usually have 500 km. Very convenient

    Pros
    • Great fit
    Cons
    • The color looks gray but the shoes are green!

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good compromise between strong cushioning and 4 mm zero drop.

The cushioning is perfect. Not an overly large cushion, but still significantly better in shock absorption than a thin zero drop. I run zero drops for a long time and as I get older my heel bones take longer and longer to heal from pain. Pillows from the likes of Brooks weren't good. It was too much. These Mizuno waves are excellent and cushion well without being over the top. Just enough flare at the base to minimize the risk of twisting, without being so excessive that I trip over the flared…

    Pros
    • Great price for reliable shoes. true size. Fits like my last four pairs.
    Cons
    • Inconsistent quality control

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great shoe at half price compared to my other sneakers.

Great shoes, very light and comfortable. When I first used them, I ran 5km and ran on the treadmill for an hour. Limited availability in stores.

    Pros
    • I am happy with my purchase. Great run so far!
    Cons
    • Limited availability in stores

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

    Ideal for cross training

I've been buying these shoes for years and absolutely love them. I do fitness classes on the floor of a basketball court and these shoes are great for keeping me from slipping. I also have very flat feet and this shoe gives me the extra support I need. I wear most 7.5 inch shoes and they fit just as expected. I would highly recommend these shoes to anyone looking for a cheap cross training shoe for heavy training.

    Pros
    • True to size, very comfortable.
    Cons
    • Poor cushioning for people with knee or back problems

    Revainrating 2 out of 5

These are not traditional Wave Rider shoes!

I've been wearing Mizuno Wave Riders for 10 years now. The best shoes for my goal and step. However, this version of the "WaveKnit" has nothing to do with the traditional Wave Rider running shoe. Honestly, I'm disappointed that Mizuno is using the Wave Rider label on these shoes. This is very deceptive! If you are a runner (or even a power walker) you will be disappointed with the construction of these shoes. They look great but lack the support needed for running/walking.

    Pros
    • I've been running with the Mizuno Wave Rider since 2005 and I won't buy any other running shoes anymore!
    Cons
    • Limited color options

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

    Mizuno lovers in my review.

I am a longtime and loyal customer of Mizuno shoes (actually all products). These shoes are perfect for wide feet. This is one of the few shoes I wear; for training, cycling and leisure. I would highly recommend ALL Mizuno products

    Pros
    • This is a very good shoe for people with knee pain.
    Cons
    • May cause pain in the ball of the foot

    Revainrating 3 out of 5

This is not a mizuno home run

I like many Mizuno products. They made my judo GI for all the years I competed. These shoes left a lot to be desired. They "didn't last" very long. They were a bit narrow in width and the tongues kept slipping off. I will continue to buy other Mizuno products but not this shoe.

    Pros
    • favorite shoes ever
    Cons
    • Not suitable for outdoor activities other than running

    Revainrating 3 out of 5

If there are 9.5 men / 12 women, then 12 men.

There is nothing wrong with shoes. The description said 9.5 male/12 female which I found odd but the price was good so I ordered it. It was a men's size 12 so it didn't fit.

    Pros
    • It's a good choice
    Cons
    • Uncomfortable insole
