Quality running/training shoes

I use this shoe for running outdoors and working out in the gym. They offer solid support and I haven't had any issues with the fit or wearing even after a few months.

Pros
  • I love the comfort, stability and look offered by the Mizuno Wave Rider 23 Waveknit.
Cons
  • Heavy compared to other shoes.

Worth a try - I'm a big fan

Big fan of this shoe. I'm a fairly heavy person and they seem to wear out quicker than most firmer soled shoes, but they are comfortable and seem to help/fit my running mechanics.

Pros
  • They are alright. I was expecting them to be the same as the other two Waverider 23 pairs I own. They have a lot more grids.
Cons
  • It lacks breathability

Dirty but otherwise great

This is great, except a knitted sock gets dirty in no time. I have a playful street dog and every time I play with her my shoes need washing. Luckily they wash well. I've washed them about 4 times in the last 4 months, can't say it has had any negative effect on them.

Pros
  • Good choice..!!.. great sneakers.
Cons
  • Material wears out and tears easily

Be careful with size 12 for women and 9.5 for men!

I ordered size 12 women / 9.5 men. These are men's size 12. I'm sure it's a good shoe, it's just the sizing isn't right. This pair of Mizuno shoes was what I expected! I already tested for my first 15 miles running, they are awesome!!

Pros
  • This pair of Mizuno shoes was exactly what I expected! I've already tested my first 15 miles, they're amazing!
Cons
  • It takes time to get used to new shoes

Disappointing in my rating

I have had several versions of the Wave Rider and this one was very disappointing. Average about 40 miles a week and the regular wave rider can keep going. The best shoes I've ever had. Until now. This version was never launched. Feet never felt good in them. Lots and lots of blisters long after the shoes were supposed to be put on. Back to non-WAVEKNIT.

Pros
  • Driven more than 100 km, everything fine!
Cons
  • Poorly constructed lacing system.

It's not a wave rider, but it's a good shoe.

This is NOT the Mizuno Wave Rider 23. This is the Mizuno Waveknit 3, a completely different model. It was a surprise when I received it. However, the online stores say they are basically the same except for the upper and it seems that way to me, so I kept the sneakers and they are fine. Wave Rider and Waveknit help my feet feel comfortable and pain free. I'm actually glad this list is wrong because now I know Waveknit works just as well for me as Wave Rider. 🏃👟

Pros
  • I have been using these shoes for several years. It's comfortable, fits well, and is durable.
Cons
  • Not waterproof

Really comfortable - my new test report

I've only had them for about a month, hardly used them so can't say much about durability (which is one of the reasons I chose them). However, the footsteps feel softer due to the outsole materials. I love them for running, they are very light.

Pros
  • Great shoes for running! Light and well balanced shoe. This is my third pair and I enjoy running in all of them.
Cons
  • Not suitable for people with plantar fasciitis

Perfect for the picky consumer!

This is my first pair of Mizuno shoes. After using this shoe for 4 months I wanted to share my experience. I have wide feet and only a few shoes fit me. Most regular width shoes are too tight, and wide shoes leave a lot of gaps and don't fit well. This one in "Wide" or "2E" is perfect! I first bought it for running and used it for outdoor (concrete) running during the fall and winter (typical temps 20-30 F). With a decent pair of socks, my feet don't get cold at all. The best part is that it is

Pros
  • The Wave Rider 23 WAVEKNIT are the most comfortable running shoes I've ever bought, will buy them again.
Cons
  • Poor grip on wet surfaces

In my opinion not as described

If anyone claims that this shoe has a wide toe box, don't believe it. They're tight, tight, tight! I bought half a size larger than usual and still my toes were clenched. I sent them back.

Pros
  • Great shoes, a bit stiff but otherwise perfect.
Cons
  • Not suitable for long-distance runs

Take more expensive

I had a more expensive pair of Mizunos (can't remember which one) and they were great. Decided to go with the cheaper ones this time and it shows. The soles are very hard on the feet and cause joint problems. My feet are too sensitive, but no matter what they are made of, it's not good. Choose the more expensive ones, they are much better

Pros
  • It is a good product for sale to a correr for the mañanas and a good price
Cons
  • Inconsistent size

Expensive bedroom slippers

Mizuno's last pair was the Wave Rider 21 and I was looking for another pair. It seemed to me that several hours had passed and I gave up. "How much can they change between the ages of 21 and 23?" I wondered. We had to keep looking. 23 is terrible. Too soft. zero support. Nothing like 21. Sent back for a refund. I guess I'll have to keep looking for the real shoe. These 23s are useless for anything but slippers.

Pros
  • Se siente perfecto
Cons
  • May cause heel blisters

Hold on first. A week in

So far, so good. I was afraid of negative reviews but I still took a chance. For me they are extremely comfortable. I'm a 6'1 heavy runner slowly getting back to it. The sock and pillow were top notch. So I hope for the best. It was a week without complaints.

Pros
  • As always, Mizuno did not disappoint. They are very comfortable, great for running and working out in the gym.
Cons
  • Non-slip on some surfaces

Yes. Do it. in my rating

Great shoes. Super comfortable. I had an injury and decided to buy new shoes and I'm very impressed. Definitely take half a size bigger.

Pros
  • If you have a slightly wide foot, these shoes will fit you best and be the most comfortable.
Cons
  • Expensive compared to other running shoes on the market

Great for a wide footed man who needs extra support

My boyfriend rocks a bit when walking and I think he likes these shoes because they add extra comfort. He has a wide foot and this is his favorite brand.

Pros
  • This is my first Mizuno and I am very happy with the performance of this shoe.
Cons
  • Too small for people with big feet

Suitable for heavy runners

Really great running shoes. I'm on the heavier side and read an online review recommending them and I'm glad I tried them. Legs feel great!

Pros
  • I have bursitis on both sides of my foot and this shoe works well for that, has no seams and comes in a large size.
Cons
  • It takes time to crack

These shoes are ROCKKKK!

Mizunos never disappoints! GET OFF THE FENCE AND BUY IT TODAY! Bought Some Hoka to run and after 2 miles got a blister on my right foot on 2 separate occasions. Some shoes just work better.

Pros
  • Very comfortable and light
Cons
  • Too hard for some people

The transition from the wave is inspirational.

I've been running mizuno for at least 10 years now. Traditionally, I stick to the supportive side of Mizuno's suggestions, such as: B. Wave Inspire. I recently decided to switch to knit shoes and couldn't get enough of them. These shoes are lightweight and offer good cushioning. I did notice less cushioning compared to my regular running shoes, but that's what I expected. Losing cushioning has not yet resulted in foot or leg pain. For the record, I bought this shoe in 3 different colorways and…

Pros
  • Fits as expected. I've been using Mizuno running shoes for many years and these are my favorites.
Cons
  • Not adjustable for people with flat feet

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Sooo reliably good for me

I've been a Mizuno fan for many years. I find their shoes to be very stable, durable yet able to disperse shock if not better than any other company on the market.

Pros
  • Wonderful shoes, very comfortable
Cons
  • Not durable for frequent use

Shoe size my rating

Mizuno sizes are different from sneakers from other brands. So be careful when buying if you don't know your Mizuno shoe size.

Pros
  • Kilometer after kilometer without injury. 500 miles easily and still looking very good
Cons
  • Difficult to clean
