Too small - my new rating

What a disappointment when I gave them to my grandson and he opened the box and they were the wrong size. It's too late to return. I think they will make a good paperweight

Pros
  • love her
Cons
  • Order size up, I'm 12, ordered 12.5, didn't fit...

True fit, comfortable, good support.

I bought this sight invisible. Go to size (13). Very comfortable even on thick mud, wish the toe box was a little larger; but I know I just have a very wide ball of foot, that's a normal sock. It shows some signs of recoil, allowing it to be carried normally. I also find the support very good. I'm a big guy with plantar fasciitis and these shoes really supported my feet so I didn't hurt myself after a few games which is really good.

Pros
  • Great boots for softball.
Cons
  • zero pillow. They hurt to play. No heel support.

Runs out half a size too small, long spikes

Half a size smaller. I have US 10 and I ordered 10.5 which fits perfectly. Choose your size based on EU sizes. My size 10 shoes always have EU 44 on the tag, this size chart says 43 so they run small. I have a normal wide foot and it fits snugly but not too tight. The knobs are longer than I expected with a mix of thicker and heavier knobs in the traction areas. It's perfect because I use them on semi-compacted ground and tall grass. I'll post an update if they suck for this use. They fit like…

Cheap as a pair of boots.

Baseball/softball shoes appear to be declining in quality. All made out of artificial materials, with an outer shell that looks like a pair of old rubber boots. I'm 70 years old and had my first pair of baseball shoes when I was 13. They were leather and lasted two years. Broke like a glove. These things are hot, don't stretch to accommodate your feet, and aren't particularly stable for a person of any weight. The last good softball shoe I owned was adidas and I'll probably check that out…

Pros
  • ProFlex allows the forefoot to flex through multiple flex zones.
Cons
  • Not as good as advertised

More of a sneaker than a cleat

These shoes are comfortable but they are a bit tight even for people like me who have narrow to medium feet. If you have wide feet, you should look elsewhere or order a half or full size larger. The boots offer good traction, but if you're used to wearing hard-supported cleats, they'll feel a bit odd because they're very flexible. They're pretty light and I feel fast in them, which is great. Overall, they're not the best I've tasted, but they're excellent

Pros
  • Full midsole for maximum comfort.
Cons
  • Almost everything ok

Ideal for slow walking, consider going up half a size

Wanted a pair of adult slow play softball boots and they are absolutely perfect. One of the leagues I play in plays on a poorly maintained, very tightly packed infield and they still add a lot of traction and the excellent distribution of the smaller "bumps" helps offset the pressure on the big spikes. I bought a half size larger than my normal shoes based on previous reviews and they fit great. Very comfortable and I love the extra ankle support in the middle. Definitely recommend.

Pros
  • Perfect for a variety of sports.

I'm a Convert: Men

This is great, over half the size as stated by other reviews. I wish I had tried this type of shoes before hard cleats. I've worn 4 softball games, they work great and feel good almost immediately. A week was wet on the outfield and infield and they still had good traction, no issues. If it's very wet I'll probably go back to my hard boots, but if it's very wet they cancel games so that can be a moot point. They're much more comfortable than cleats without sacrificing traction, and when the…

Pros
  • Aggressive ground grip lug design for improved traction.
Cons
  • Long wait
