A friend gave me similar shoes when my child was just learning to walk and she loved wearing them. I bought these when I needed a size up and found them to work great. The Velcro closure makes it easy to put on and take off and keeps your feet secure while you run. They also seem comfortable - she doesn't complain in them, and even without shoes, they don't leave marks on her feet.

Great shoes at a great price. My only problem. I check baby feet and shoes for moisture 2-3 times a day. Finally, when I felt that the shoes were wet, I took out the sole to prepare it for a good wash and ventilation. To my surprise the tie is on the insole and under the linker the soles were covered with soft patches, unfortunately the thick rubber does not provide ventilation and although feet and shoes were dry except the last time I wore them with a baby they were still soft! I only give them 4 stars because the color and description are a little different. I have a little boy and just wanted gray shoes and the fabric is shiny and very very LIGHT GRAY almost white with mesh sequins. I just wanted a solid gray color, nothing special. Therefore, if you want a glittery pair for your learning toddler, I recommend choosing grey, otherwise you can choose a different color.
