This is exactly what I was looking for for our patio deck. During the day they are almost invisible, and at night I have many color options. Right now I have orange for fall and lots of color options for the holiday season. It's very easy to come to terms with. I installed plastic loops around the inside of the roof and then ran light string through the loops. I have a timer and they support what I programmed them to do. Try them, I think they are the best.

Lights look great except not all lights are the same color. Reading other reviews I can see that this is trending for this product. Update: The company that makes this product saw that I returned the lights and read my review. They sent me another set for free that seemed to glow in one color. I say it's good customer service, which is rare these days. So if your lights aren't all the same color when they're supposed to be, this company will fix it.

These are amazing lights - when I first took them out of the box I was sure they were for the application I ordered them for wouldn't work. boy was i wrong! Very disappointed in them, we have a timer that turns on at dusk, every time they turn on they automatically light up red. It doesn't matter what color setting we have set if they turn off. This means that for Halloween we always have to go outside to turn it orange. Another weird thing about them is that sometimes a lightbulb will glow one color, like orange, and turn blue after about an hour. When the LED chain arrived, I was surprised and disappointed. When I see a rope I think of something important, but a 100 foot coil fits in the palm of my hand. Wire is the diameter of the speaker wire. I had my doubts, but I installed it anyway. I put an LED light outside on the patio, I used it just under the railing. As soon as it got dark, I turned on the light. I am happy to say that the headlights did not disappoint. Love the colors and the power was great for lighting up the entire deck.
