After only using Mod Podge's matte finish, I switched to this one for making bangles, glasses cases and other small items. This gives them a nice, shiny, professional look. For additional protection, I apply two to three coats of polyacrylic paint.

I really like this product to seal my finished diamond paintings (see attached pictures). Since it's water based I dilute it a bit with water and then paint a thin layer over the finished work. The end result is that the pearls are 'sealed' to prevent them from coming loose from the canvas and the shine in this formula enhances the brilliant effect of the diamond pearls. Very pretty! Easy to use and easy to clean afterwards.

The Plaid brand does a great job with the Mod Podge. I love this stuff! I have glossy, matte and washable versions. I use them to put glitter on everything from canvases to coffee mugs and each type works perfectly!
