This is a quality frame that suits my needs perfectly but I agree with others it is very difficult to remove the protective film.

Great frame for the price! Ideal for 8x10. It's a bit difficult to remove the protective paper from the acrylic. Be patient. You also need to have a good eye to center things as there are no landmarks. In general, it looks much more expensive than its price. Highly recommended!

I bought this frame for my own watercolor pet portrait and it looks very neat and modern. The acrylic pages were covered with a protective layer and removed fairly easily. It comes with 4 handles to twist the frame together. I was able to assemble it in less than 5 minutes. The acrylic parts are quite thick and appear to be very durable.

The instructions for the frame say "Use a knife or sharp object to remove the protective film" but when I did the scratch remained on all four surfaces. This overly thick film is intended to protect the acrylic parts from scratches... but be aware that you're more likely to get scratches anyway.

I bought two of these to use in the upcoming holidays of life. I love the frames but the protective coating on the acrylic was difficult to remove. Expect this to take longer than you think (it took me an hour to remove the covers and add 2 8x10 photos). It's worth the effort and I love the results, it's just not quick frame work.

I had to center carefully but had no problem lining up the 8x10 print. It was well packaged with a protective film on all sides of the acrylic. It has a nice beveled edge that makes it more expensive than acrylic. I love modern clean lines and couldn't be happier. So easy to assemble. And Revain also saved me one day when I couldn't find what I was looking for in the shops.

I use this in my jewelry shop to hang earrings for photography. I actually took it apart (easily), cut out a rectangle from the middle and tied string to hang the earrings on. As it stands alone, I'm ready for photos. I used the part I cut out, drilled holes for the rivets and placed the tie on the bottom. I've seen ones with the center cut out for a much higher price, so this works for me!
