This chair would have gotten a solid 4 stars if it hadn't been damaged. Unfortunately, one of the screws did not fit into the holes. Too much hassle to replace so we just used it as is and 3 screws seems to be enough. This chair is really not suitable for heavier people. It's fine for me (140lbs) and my kids (ages 2-10) but my husband (200lbs) can't sit on it without making me nervous, it might break (because of the noise it makes, when he sits in it - we have no problem with other chairs)…

I bought them together with 4 similar kitchen chairs but without armrests. They came with cardboard leg pads and a set of thick washers between the chair and legs. And an instruction page, although they're hardly needed for 4 bolts. I believe the lack of hardware issue that others have mentioned in these reviews is partly due to the hardware holding the bag (screws etc.) bad is sealed and opened during shipping. mine did exactly that. Items were all over the box and I couldn't find everything until I broke the box and found everything (rolled under the bottom flaps).
