I'm so glad my bathroom faucet is running at full speed! Contrary to what another reviewer said, this aerator was clearly marked as 2.2 GPM. I can now fill a cup 1/4 times faster than my old aerator. Please make sure you select the correct size when ordering. There is a good online article on the plumbing site that compares overall size to quarter, nickel or cent size. This oversized aerator is just under a quarter.

It's made of real metal, you can't find that anymore these days! This is a full flow aerator that works great. Warning - many aerators conserve water/restrict flow, check GPM rating. I know too often that you buy the first thing you see threaded that will work at a hardware store and think it will work great. This aerator has alternated day and night on my kitchen faucet. It costs a little more but is of high quality and will ensure your faucet works as intended.

The aerator that came with our faucet was a female thread which was both noisy and didn't provide enough water flow. It took me forever to scoop up enough water with my hands to wash my face. We removed the aerator and found we had really good water pressure in the bathroom. Before that, we assumed this was the plumbing of our old house.
